WHO LET THE DADS OUT? SATURDAY 16 December—9.30-12 noon   This monthly event for dads, stepdads, grandads or male carers and their younger children [0-6 yrs] will be in the Church Hall. Children enjoy a range of toys including bouncy castle, sit-on cars, inflatable ball pool and large train set. Dad’s relax together over coffee and newspapers.  Adults £3: children free! Just turn up!

Community Support for Refugees—MEETING THURSDAY 14 DEC     The next meeting of the East Northants Refugee Support Group will take place at the Rushden Full Gospel Group this Thursday at 7.30pm.


CHRISTMAS PARTY—SATURDAY 16 DEC—7.30-pm CHURCH HALL     Who Let the Girls Out! are hosting an open evening in the Church Hall for All 16+.   It will be a Christmas party and karaoke night! Tickets: £3. Dress as your favourite band from across the decades! Bring a plate and your own drinks. Contact Helen Smedley for more details or ring 07495 304974.

CAROLS AT REDCLIFFE RESIDENTIAL HOME – Wed 20 DECEMBER    Anyone who could come to sing carols with us at the Redcliffe Residential Home at 2.00pm would be appreciated.       Steve Prior

 OUR BIG CHRISTMAS CARD TO ALL OUR MEMBERS!    The Sunday Club has made us a large Christmas card which is on a table at the back of church, open for anyone to sign as a greeting to all the members of our congregations. Give a donation to our Christmas charities in the box nearby.

CHRISTMAS CARDS to GIVE AWAY   Christmas cards with details of our Christmas services are at the back of the church—please take one for yourself and as many as you wish to give to friends and neighbours to invite them to attend.

CHURCH OFFICE   The Church Office will be open this week Tuesday to Thursday from 10 to 12noon.  Please have all notices for next week’s bulletin at the Church Office by 10am on Thursday by placing in the letter box outside the office, phoning: 412235 or emailing:

CHRISTMAS NATIVITY—17 December      Our Christmas Nativity will take place next Sunday morning in our All Age service. All children who attend will be invited to take part in the Nativity Play. (It would be a big help if you could wear a costume as an angel, a shepherd or a king!) Come along and join us!

WINTER GLORY LADIES CONFERENCE—SAT 27 JANUARY 9.15-4.30    The annual ladies conference “Winter Glory” will be held in Kettering again this year entitled “Planting the Heavens” with speakers Amy Orr-Ewing and Tanya Walker. Leaflets are at the back of church or see Kate Woodfield.

This new worship service is specifically aimed at people with additional needs at St Mary’s each Sunday from 2.00pm to 3.00pm.  There will be a 20-30 minute service in church followed by 30 minutes of activities and refreshments in the church hall.

7pm. AGAPE —  Our annual Maundy Thursday Agape – a meal within Holy Communion – will be held in the Church Hall, serving a light supper. Tickets £4 from Martin Compton and Jacquie White.

GOOD FRIDAY — 14th April

9.30 Contemporary All Age Service for an hour

2.00 Hour at the the Cross, with readings, prayers and reflections on Good Friday.

EASTER DAY — 16th April

7.30 Sunrise service

8.00 BCP Holy Communion

10.30pm Joint All Age Communion

6.00 pm The Big Sing – Easter Praise with a selection of traditional and contemporary Hymns and songs chosen by members of our congregation.
