The Lent Collection   The collection for Tearfund made over Lent stands at £825 and will be sent off as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone for taking part.

NEW PEW BIBLES It is over 25 years since we invested in new pew Bibles. In the intervening years the majority had become dog eared and damaged, several had broken backs and missing covers.  In February the PCC agreed to replace them and we now have the latest available NIV edition in the pews available for use.  The old Bibles will be sorted before disposal. If you or your family wish to have any that were purchased in memory or gifted to the church please contact Don Merrifield by 30/6/19.

LOST & FOUND  If you think you may have left something in church, there is a ‘Lost & Found’ basket at the back of the church underneath the Mission Notice Board. Have a look!

CRAFTS & COFFEE (OR TEA) TUESDAY 2 JULY, 10am—12    A new monthly craft group will be starting up on Tuesday, 2 July. Each month a new craft will be demonstrated. You will be able to either bring a craft from home to work on or purchase a craft to do on the day.

CHURCH OFFICE   The Church Office will be open Tuesday to Thursday this week from 10am to 12noon. Please have all notices for next week’s notice sheet at the Church Office by 10am on Thursday by placing in the letter box outside the office, phoning: 412235 or emailing: stmaryschurchoffice@btinternet.com.

Please pray:

For those who are Ill:   Jean Tombling, Ruby Willmer, Margaret Ord, Bernadette Crisp, Dan Whiteman, Liz Hodgson, Beryl Apted, John Dixon, Chris Hurst, Rex Charles, Lindy Schiff, Michael Marron, Hugo Lamberty, Bob Trusler, Avril Bird and Claire Pettit.

For ministry in our local community: T & C    Pray that this time of social interaction over tea, coffee and cakes on a Thursday morning will prove a blessing to those members of the community and church who use it and that the ‘minglers’ and ‘servers’ will have an opportunity to show the love of Jesus to those who come.

For our Partners in Mission :   The Church Army   The Church Army asks us to pray for people who are exploring what it means to be a Christian and for their evangelists who are helping them in this. Pray that God will use the courses and resources developed by the Church Army to equip people to grow in their faith and to share the Good News of Jesus.
