WELCOME: A warm welcome to anyone with us for the first time. Please make yourself known and ask for our introductory leaflet.

Children: (5-11years old) begin the service in the church and go to Jiffy in the Church Hall just before the Bible reading.

FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN: there is a crèche in the room under the tower at the 9.30am service. Activity Bags for small children are available —as well as emergency supplies — please ask at the back of church.

PRAYER: There is an opportunity for prayer, for yourself or others, in the Pemberton Chapel between the morning services.

THERE IS A LOOP SYSTEM in this church for the hard of hearing.

At the 9.30 am service, please sit in-between the pillars for the best reception.

At the 11.15am service, please sit outside the pillars for best reception.

THOSE WITH HEARING AIDS SHOULD TURN TO “T” others should ask for a “hand held” aid.

For the bereaved relatives and friends of:   Audrey Mullis whose Memorial Service will be held in Church on Wednesday 13 March 2pm; and John Holloway whose Funeral will be held in the St Leonard’s Church, Catworth, at 11.30am on Wednesday 20 March.

For local ministries: Pray for the Lent Lunches, that they will be a time of blessing as members of the Rushden churches meet together.

For our Partners in Mission : Church Army:Pray for the Selby Centre of Mission, based on a deprived estate in North Yorkshire where Church Army workers Richard Cooke and Amy Hayes seek to support the community with a drop-in on a converted double-decker bus.

Please pray for them as they provide emotional support, befriending and help with bereavement. Pray, too, for the Bus Stop Project providing young people with a space to explore faith and life issues.

Thank you to everyone who helped in any way with the Jumble Sale, especially the young men from the Recovery House. £322 was raised.


Lent lunches 12 noon

Lent Lunches will be served in the Church Hall each Wednesday from March 13th followed by a time of meditation in the church . Donations for Christian Aid.

                               WHO LET THE DADS OUT? – SATURDAY 16th MARCH

   9.30-12noon: This monthly event for dads, stepdads, grandads or male carers and their younger children [0-6 yrs] will be in the Church Hall Saturday with bouncy castle, sit-on cars and inflatable ball pool. Adults £3: children free! Just turn up!


Easter Holiday Club from 9.30am to 12 noon. Kids learn about Easter and have loads of fun! Cost is £15 (£5 per day) for the first child and £6 (£2 per day) for siblings.  Booking forms are now available at the back of church.  Contact Lynne on 01933 353655 or email lynne@lateralflow.co.uk for more details.

The Annual Vestry and APCM will be on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 in Church.

Please send reports to the Church Office asap. Please see the Electoral Roll at the back of church to ensure you are included. Forms are available if you need to complete one. Nomination forms for Church Warden and PCC members are now available.


The Lent Collection this year will be for Tearfund. Please take a collecting box or a jar and fill it with your loose change


If you haven’t picked up an envelope for our Stewardship Campaign, please do so. Once you have, please return the Response Form either in the box at the back of church.

Agape 7.00pm Thursday 18 april. This special Maundy Thursday event takes place in the Church Hall—sharing a meal together as we remember the Last Supper. Tickets now available at £4 each from Martin Compton.

VISIT BY MISSION PARTNERS: BRIAN AND VAL HODGKIN: 24 March Our mission partners from Wycliffe Bible Translators—Brian and Val—will be joining us on 24 March for our morning services. We will also be having a Bring & Share lunch that day after church. Please put it in your diary now!  A sheet is at the back of the church to give an indication of what you may bring!
