ELECTION HUSTINGS: Park Rd Baptist Church Friday 26 May 7.30pm  Election hustings have been arranged to be held this week with all major parties invited to attend. There will be a Q & A session.

BRIAN & VAL HODGKIN MISSION MORNING—~NEXT SUNDAY 28 MAY  Brian and Val plan to be with us for our morning services on 28th May, sharing about themselves and their work with Wycliffe Bible Translators.  — with BRING AND SHARE LUNCH Don’t miss this opportunity to share with our mission partners Brian and Val— as well as with the rest of our congregations—by coming along to the bring-and-share lunch. There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the church with suggestions of what to bring, but even if you are not able to bring anything, do come along!

SUMMER CREAM TEAS & PIANO RECITALS   TODAY! Sunday 21 MAY   Enjoy Carol’s delicious Cream Tea for £4.00 between 3 and 5pm today and free Piano Recitals by our own Rosemary Nayyar at 2.30pm & 4.30pm.  No need to book These will also be held on 25 June, 23 July &  20 August.

THE CHURCH FETE—SATURDAY 10 JUNE at 2pm   The Church Fete will take place on Saturday 10 June from 2 to 4pm in the grounds of St Mary’s Church. There will various games, a Bouncy Castle, stalls and refreshments.  Donations of cakes—for refreshments as well as the cake stall—as well as toys, books, plants and offers to assist on the day would be appreciated: please contact Martin Compton 01933 418136, Edna Wadsworth 01933 357253 or Paul Cox 01933 311050.

NEW DATE!     FRIENDS OF ST MARY’S CONCERT—SATURDAY 7 OCTOBER  The concert by Amicorum Ladies Choir with Andrew King accompanying on the organ will now take place on Saturday 7 October

CONGRATULATIONS  Congratulations to Tony Smith who has served as a Reader in our church for 40 years on 22 May. Best wishes and gratitude from all at St Mary’s for his long and faithful service. (Please join us   in congratulating him at Coffee between the services)
