My good news is the same as for most of us, this week we have celebrated the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. The best good news. Most families have traditions for Christmas day, mine consisted of breakfast with stockings, ringing at 10, (fortunately not at 6.30 as it was when I was a teenager), church, lunch, the Queen’s speech,(a lesson in evangelism), more family come, presents, tea and games. We played cards and a new eggheads game where the oldies beat the youngsters.
My other piece of good news was that I was lucky enough to have Santa Clause (or Papa Noel as we call him) came for the day. He was quite tired but ate well and was a member of the winning eggheads team.
