We would like to include some THANK YOU prayers, as well as prayers for the sick and needy.  If you have anything for which to give thanks to God that you would like to share, please write to me (sprior@toucansurf.com) and we can have this good news put up.   Of course, do let me know of any other needs as well.

GIFTS AND OFFERINGS:  If you have any questions about your giving, you are welcome to contact our Treasurer, Robert Bates to discuss options with him (telephone: 01933 358005 or email: robertbates1947@btinternet.com).  There are options for paying remotely (by direct debit, standing order, through the Parish Giving Scheme).  If you pay by envelope, you are welcome to hold on to these until the time we can meet again (Whoopee!).

This year’s Lent Collection will be sent to Tearfund.  There are a number of ways to deal with our collections for Tearfund during this lock-down.  You may contact our Treasurer, Robert Bates to discuss paying “remotely” (telephone: 01933 358005 or email: robertbates1947@btinternet.com).  However, unfortunately, if you have collected change in your jar or box, I’m afraid we will have to await until after the lock-down to count it up and send it off.

We would like to include some THANK YOU prayers, as well as prayers for the sick and needy.  If you have anything for which to give thanks to God that you would like to share, please write to me (sprior@toucansurf.com) and we can have this good news put up.   Of course, do let me know of any other needs as well.

Please pray:  We try to keep this list up to date, but would like to include some THANK YOU prayers as well.  If you have anything for which to give thanks to God that you would like to share, please write to Steve (sprior@toucansurf.com) and we will put up this good news as well.

For the recently bereaved family and friends of Claire Pettit.

For those who are Ill:  Baby Alice (Rita Nutter’s great-granddaughter seriously ill in hospital), Bob Trusler, Jean Lathwell. Alan Palmer, Avril Bird, Mark Butcher, Mel Britchford, Glenis Burton, John Tye, the Whiteman Family and Ruby Willmer.

THANK YOU, FATHER GOD

Thank you, God, for the wonderful gift of sight. I was out this sunny afternoon when I came across a flock of sheep with their lambs lying sheltering in the shade below a group of hawthorns all thickly laden with blossom – a miraculously beautiful thing. Richard
