WINTER GLORY CONFERENCE—SATURDAY 30th JANUARY
Next years Winter Glory Conference for ladies takes place on Saturday 30th January 2016 9:15am-4:30pm at Kettering Conference Centre. The theme for the day is ‘Dwelling’ –  exploring the theme of God’s promise; cost £14. My Christmas Wish Event
The people of Rushden are invited to donate new (or good as new) gifts for 0-16 year olds so that those who use the Food Bank may choose some toys for their children. Please drop your donated gifts at Simpson and Weekley Estate Agent in the High Street, Rushden from the 30th November to 11th December.  Donations of money will also be accepted (last year this went for gas/electricity for families so that they could have a warm Christmas).  If you are not able to get to Simpson and Weekley, you may leave gifts at the back of church by the 6th December.

Give thanks for the new regional commentary that has recently been published—the South Asia Commentary.  Written in English, by 91 evangelical scholars from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh (including most of the Langham Scholars in the region) this 1824 page commentary also contains 90 specialist articles on South Asian realities.  Hindi and Urdu translation work has already started and one in Tamil is being considered.

Countdown to Christmas 2015 (and beyond!)

Here are some dates for your diaries. We are on Christmas countdown now!!!

Wednesday 2nd December: Fun Faith ‘n’ Food. 3.30-6.00pm. Children and families welcome for crafts, play, worship and a hot meal. £2 adults, 50p children. Carol is making a special Christmas Shepherd’s pie this time so let us know if you are coming so there is plenty for everyone.

Saturday 12th December 2.30 pm:  Christingle Service. This is a lovely service for children and adults. Do come; you will love it!

Monday 14th December: Bumps&Babes @Church Christmas Party. Please bring your little ones to Church at 10am dressed as a Nativity character (Mary, Joseph, Shepherd, King, Angel etc.) Afterwards play in the hall followed by party lunch and a visit from Father Christmas!

Saturday 19th December 9.30-12.00: Who Let the Dad’s Out Christmas Thing. It’s the same event for A monthly event for dads, stepdads, grandads, or male carers and their younger children! (£3 for the Adult) but with added Santa.

Sunday 20th December: 9.30am Nativity Service for all the family. Rehearsals take place on the Saturday 19th December from 3.15–6.00. (It ends with a party tea).

6.00pm. Service of lessons and Carols by candlelight. Beautiful choir led service; come if you can. Children welcome.

CHIRSTMAS EVE:  Thursday 24th December:
Christmas Eve Special
at 3.30pm and again at 5.00pm. A great service led by Matt and the team full of Christmas surprises! Do come. Refreshments served between the two services.
Christmas Communion at 11.00pm

CHIRSTMAS DAY:  Friday 25th December: Service for Everyone at 10.30 am. Come along and sing Carols on the day! Children are welcome to bring a present to show us all.

Monday 4th January 2016: Bumps & Babes @ Church re starts. If it is a school training day bring your school children along too!

Wednesday 6th January 2016: Fun Faith ‘n’ Food Epiphany special! Come and celebrate the wise men visiting Baby Jesus! Expect crowns, gifts and camels! It runs from 3.30-6.00pm including play, crafts, worship and hot meal. £2 adults 50p children.

So you see a great time for all has been planned; enjoy!
